The Carterville Lions are home tonight when they host the Murphysboro Red Devils in a SIRR Conference Ohio Division battle.
Coach Daryl Murphy and the Red Devils enter tonights game 12-2 on the season. Their one win came against Massac County 45-40 back on December 13, while their one loss was to the Herrin Tigers 52-45 on Decmeber 20th.
The Lions enter the game 8-7 overall, with a 0-2 mark in conference play. The Herrin Tigers beat the Lions at CHS back on December 13th and the Lions lost at Harrisburg to open the new year 49-44 on January 3rd.
This will be the final game before each team open play in the 2025 mid-winter tournaments. The Red Devils will play in the Sparta mid-winter while the Lions open play in Benton Invitational Tourney on Monday night when they face Hamilton County. Game time on Monday is 7:30 PM.
