Fresh off a thrilling 28-26 win over the Du Quoin Indians last Friday night, the Carterville Lions hit the road for this weeks' SIRR Conference game. The Lions will travel to Anna-Jonesboro to try and spoil the homecoming festivities of the Wildcats.
Last weeks game wasn't finally decided until there were less than two minutes left the game. That's when the Lions defense came up with the critical turnover to derail the drive fo the Indians. The Lions were able to run out the clock and pickup win number three on the season and start conference play in the win column.

This Lions offense is on a roll this season as they average 27.75 points per game. The defense is equally as impressive as they are only allowing 19 points per game.

About last week's YouTube livestream.... Right from the get go, I started having problems with our network connection for the livestream. The audio was fine, but the video was jumpy all game long. I tried to correct the issue on the fly, but with no success. Once the game starts, my first responsibility is to the radio broadcast, so spending more than 60 seconds trying to fix an issue is impossible. Fingers crossed, we won't have problems for this weeks game.
