Lions Play Tigers For 3rd At BIT

The Carterville Lions are playing in the Benton Invitational Tourney for the second year in a row and have a chance to finish 3rd this year as they face the Herrin Tigers at Rich Herrin Gymnasium. This will be the third time the Lions and Tigers have faced each other, with one more conference game coming up next Friday night at Herrin.


Monday night the Lions opend the BIT with a 58-25 win over the Hamilton County Foxes.


On Friday night, the Lions took on the Benton Rangers in the semi-finals, losing 52-42. Kaden Wilson, who had missed the HAMCO game on Monday night, finsihed as the leading scorer for the Lions with his 20 points. Docker Tedeschi of Benton led the Rangers with 23 points.
